Flora Page transferred to the Bar after many successful years as a solicitor. She has successfully defended large drug-conspiracies and has a particular interest in financial and sexual crime. Her achievements in court stem from a combination of natural talent and great attention to detail.
Flora has taught advocacy to Barristers beginning their careers and also internationally. Her academic prowess paved the way for a career in commercial law but she opted instead to apply those skills within the criminal courts.
Notable cases include: R v Thomas – an online blackmail allegation involving evidence from Facebook and other social media sites – defendant acquitted after Flora’s detailed and successful cross-examination of crown witnesses. R v ****** – a 14 year old defendant with special needs was acquitted of anal rape after Flora’s sensitive but unflinching cross-examination of his former girlfriend.
